From orderbird, Lightspeed or another till to Forn.
You don’t close for a single day. The old till keeps running until you switch; beforehand we import your menu and customer data from the export into Forn and answer your questions by email.
How switching works.
Everything in writing, step by step. You know beforehand what comes across and what doesn’t.
- 1
Get in touch by email
You tell us which system you use today, which printers and devices you have and how you sell. We reply with what can be moved over.
- 2
Send the export
You export your menu and customers from the old system and send us the file. We import it into Forn.
- 3
Trial run
In your test access you check tickets, prices and VAT before any guest notices. Anything that’s wrong, we fix before you go live.
- 4
Go live on a quiet day
Tuesday lunchtime instead of Friday night: you switch over when it’s quiet. Your menu is already in Forn.
What we move over.
Exactly what comes across depends on the export from your old system. We clarify that beforehand, not afterwards.
- Menu with categories, prices and extras
- Customer data, as far as the export includes it
- Your printer settings, set up again through the Forn Connector
