Everything Forn can do, on one page.
Every product and every module in a sentence or two: what it does and when it helps you. Where there’s a dedicated page, the entry takes you there.
86 features in 12 areas.
Till & payment
Sell, take payment and close the day, on the device you already have.
- Till in the browserOften there is a separate device on the counter for every channel. With Forn, counter, table, phone and delivery run in one window, on a tablet or PC.
- Till as a Windows programThe same till and the same kitchen display as a Windows program. Handy if there’s already a PC with a printer at the counter.
- Till as an Android appAn affordable Android tablet at the counter is enough: pair the device, sign in with a PIN, take payments.
- Till on the iPad On the iPad, the till runs in the browser. There is no App Store app for it.
- Cash, card and TWINTEach payment method is listed separately in the end-of-day close. In the evening it’s clear what’s in the drawer as cash and what came in by card or TWINT.
- SumUp terminalThe till sends the amount to a SumUp terminal and gets the result back. No typing it in twice and no typos in the amount.
- Keep your own terminal If you have another terminal, you keep it, contract and all. You type the amount in by hand there and record on the till whether it was paid in cash, by card or with TWINT. Only SumUp is connected automatically.
- Voids & refundsBy default only with PIN and permission, every correction is in the activity log. If the till is off in the evening, you see there who voided what.
- TipsRecord the tip right on the ticket at payment. That way it’s clear at night what is takings and what belongs to the team.
- Split & part payment Pay a bill per guest or in several parts. For the table where everyone wants to pay for themselves.
- Cash drawer & end-of-day closeCounting by coins and notes, X and Z report. The cash-up without slips of paper or a calculator.
- Several tillsYou can pair several devices as tills, for example one at the counter and one at the bar. They all work with the same menu and the same prices.
- Offline mode If the Wi-Fi goes down, the till keeps taking tickets and cash. When the connection is back, it sends the tickets on. Card and TWINT need a connection.
- E-receiptThe receipt goes by email instead of on paper, if the guest wants. Handy for business customers who need the receipt for expenses.
- Training modeThe new stand-in practises on the real till during the first shift, without booking a single centime of sales.
- Age checkFor alcohol and other age-restricted items, the till reminds you to check. Even on a packed Friday night.
Screens & self-service
Guests see their ticket at the till, your offers on the TV and the menu at the table.
- Customer displayA second screen at the till shows the guest their ticket and the total. Fewer questions at the counter; you switch it on when you need it.
- Digital signageMenu and offers on TV screens in your place, on a schedule, for example the lunch menu until 14:00. You manage it in the same panel as the menu.
- QR menu at the tableThe guest scans the code on the table and sees your menu with prices. When a price changes, you don’t reprint any menus.
- Self-order kiosk Guests put their order together themselves at a screen in your place, and the ticket goes straight to the kitchen. Takes the pressure off the counter when the lunch queue is long.
Menu & kitchen
One menu for the till, the ordering page and the kitchen.
- Menu, variants & extrasManage prices per channel, sizes, extras and sold-out items in one place. What you change applies to the till and the ordering page.
- Ingredients & allergensAllergens per dish, a filter on the ordering page and notes on the kitchen ticket. Helps the guest order and the kitchen cook.
- Pizza builder & half-and-halfChoose toppings and half pizzas with their own price, on the till and online. For the half Prosciutto, half Funghi order.
- Combos & offersMeal deals made of several items at one price, for example pizza with a drink. Good for the lunch offer.
- Kitchen displayTickets by station, with timing, allergies and recall. Replaces the ticket rail above the pass.
- Kitchen routing & preparation timesEach category goes to the right station, and preparation times help with timing. So the pizza and the salad reach the pass at the same time.
Service & tables
From the booked table to the bill at the table.
- Floor plan & open billsDraw your dining room, bills per table, move and merge them. When a group changes tables, the bill goes with them.
- Courses & seatsCall starter, main and dessert one after the other, items per seat. The kitchen cooks the main when front of house calls it.
- QR ordering at the tableThe guest scans, chooses and orders. The ticket goes to the kitchen and the till, onto their table’s bill.
- Call the serverUsing the QR code, the guest calls the server to the table. Nobody has to wave across the room.
- Pay at the table If you switch it on, guests pay at the end with their phone via a QR code, without waiting for the bill.
- Garson The server takes the order at the table on their phone, and the ticket goes straight to the kitchen. No trip to the till to enter the order.
- Reservations & walk-insAvailability, status and walk-ins on the same floor plan. No more need for the book next to the phone.
- Reservation emails Confirmation and reminder to the guest by email. Fewer empty tables from forgotten reservations.
Online & delivery
Orders through your own page and your phone, delivered by your drivers.
- Your own ordering pageAt your address and in your colours, with basket, guest account and order status. No commission to Forn.
- Ordering page on the phoneMenu, account and orders under your name, in the phone’s browser. Guests add the page to their home screen like an app.

- TWINT onlineTWINT and card through Saferpay, under your own contract with the provider. For guests who prefer to pay with TWINT.

- Delivery zonesBy postcode or distance, each zone with its own fee and minimum order. The guest sees the cost before ordering.

- Catering requestsRequests for weddings, company dinners and other occasions all come into the panel.
- Kurier appRuns, navigation, handover and cash payment for your own drivers, on Android. At night the cash adds up.
- Runs & live locationRuns built automatically or by hand, and the counter sees where the drivers are. When a guest calls to ask where their pizza is, you have the answer in front of you.
- Order pause If the kitchen can’t keep up, you pause online orders on the till or in the panel until there is room to breathe again. Counter and phone keep running.
Guests, marketing & loyalty
Keep your regulars and win new ones, with your guests’ consent.
- Customer recordsAddresses, allergies, orders and consents per guest. Everything you’re allowed to know about a regular, in one place.
- Segments & importGroup guests by behaviour and bring customer data over from your old system. That way your regulars come with you when you switch.
- Stamp cardDigital stamps per order, in your place and online. Replaces the cardboard card in the wallet.

- Promo codesDiscount codes for the ordering page and the till. For example, for the flyer in the neighbourhood.
- Refer a friendGuests recommend you and get a gift. New guests through the ones you already have.

- ReviewsOnly people who have ordered from you can leave a review. No stars from people who have never eaten with you.
- Replies to reviewsYou reply to a review right in the panel, in your own words.
- ComplaintsThe guest reports a problem, and you resolve it with a credit or a reply before it turns into a bad review.
- Google profile Link your Google Business Profile to Forn, so guests find their way from Google to your ordering page.
- Text messagesShort text messages to guests who have agreed. The credit depends on your plan.
- Consents Each guest decides whether they want marketing. Without their yes, Forn sends no message, not even an automatic one.
Team & hours
Who works when, and who is allowed to do what.
- Roles & PINOwner, manager, front of house, kitchen and driver, everyone with their own PIN. Every ticket carries a name.

- Tip sharingSplit the evening’s tips across the team, if you switch it on. You set the rule, not Forn.
